In production I do not have enough rights to create a System-DB on the SQL Server. So our operations team must create the empty System-DB without Java on the DB-Server. The creation scripts are in a engine JAR. Get the them as follows:</p> <ol> <li>Open the engine JAR /lib/ivy/ch.ivyteam.ivy.persistence-XXX.jar with a ZIP viewer like 7-ZIP</li> <li>Navigate to ch\ivyteam\ivy\persistence\db\mssqlserver\</li> <li>Extract the 3 files that start with "create": CreateBaseDatabase.sql, CreateDatabase.sql, CreateSystemApplication.sql <img alt="scripts in JAR" src="http://answers.axonivy.com/upfiles/createScripts.png"></li> </ol> <p>Pass the 3 scripts to your DB-Admin. The admin should create a new DB and execute the scripts in order:</p> <ol> <li>CreateBaseDatabase.sql </li> <li>CreateDatabase.sql: within this script the parameter {0} must be replaced with the name of the DB that was created by the DB-Admin. Execute the script and restart the Sql Server Management Studio. A prompt will ask to close open transactions.
