Access to a network share

We have the problem that we cannot access a mapped network directory from Ivy although the user with which we run the Ivy server can access the directory without problems. How can we solve this?

0	I guess you are using the Windows style with the letters for the mapped directory (e.g. s:). This may not work with Java, i.e. Ivy. Try to use the UNC path like `\\server\myShare\` and it should work. link answered 05.04.2011 at 03:45 jschori (suspended) accept rate: 100%

Hi, Windows services are not able to access mapped network drives. Mapped network drives in windows are only aviable as user session. To verify this try to run the server as application not as service. This is a windows problem not a ivy one
