How to inject custom exception handler into Ivy

Hi ivy team,

Now, I need to use the component p:ajaxExceptionHandler which required to configure in faces configuration file (faces-config.xml).

When I looked at this file in Ivy designer, I saw that you have already declared your own custom exception handler as RuntimeLogExceptionHandlerFactory. And inside that class, you always return RuntimeLogExceptionHandler instance

How can I inject my custom exception handler for using the component p:ajaxExceptionHandler ???

JavaDoc of IDataCach with lifetime parameter

Hi Ivyteam,

According to the javadoc:

I try to store the value by using IDatacach with lifetime's value is 0. Then I expected that it will be expired after 1 minute. But unfortunately, it seems to be infinite time in IvyCach, even I call it again after 5 minutes.

After Hau Tran's TA guy dig into the ivy source code. He found that, there is one condition to check like that if (lifetime > 0) in the method processGroup and processEntry of DataCacheInvalidationJob class.

Now, you see that the java doc make me consufed about the lifetime's explanation.

I am looking forward to hearing any ideas from you :)

How to handle date format with SOAP web service in Ivy

Hi Everyone,

Now, I got the trouble with format date in SOAP webservice which created by Ivy

When I call it by SOAP client, I always got the exception like Unmarshalling Error: 28.08.2016 Because as we know, the expected format for date in XML is: YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss. But I want to use the custom format like dd.MM.YYYY

Do you have any ideas about that?

How update the INote in Ivy

Hello everyone,

Recently, I have to manipulate for CRUD operation with INote in ivy. After I looked at the INoteable interface. I saw that Ivy team had just exposed some pubic api like createNote, deleteNote ..etc.

My problem is that I want to update the INote with built-in feature in Ivy. How can I do that?

How to catch exception with Task Switch Gateway component

Hi all,

When I started the task in the task list. I often got the exception:

RequestException: The task with identifier '846' was already finished or does not exist (Session identifier is '45').

But I want to catch this exception and show a friendly dialog to the user.
