Store Data in a Task

Hi guys

I have a question depending value handling on a task.

I have following case:

I've started a task and a view opens with a lot of attributes. I don't have actually all information to fill all of the fields on it, so I want already to fill the data I know and close the window. After I got the Information I want to restart the task and see the already filled fields and add the further fields I couldnt fill before.

My question is now, how can I store the data inside a task without complete it? I don't actually want to use a database.

Hi,

I have some questions about the Index page:

Is there a way to replace it with an own page?
What's best practice to not show th e index page to the users but still
have access to the admin panel?

Startref Issue

We're facing following Issue:

Could not find a start with name '15601A89E0030024/Logout.ivp'

We tried following ways:

{ivy.html.startref('Start Processes/Home/Logout.ivp')}

{ivy.html.startref('15601A89E0030024/Logout.ivp')}

The problem is, that the Logoutprocess is in another Project which is in the required Project list of the Projects which tries to start the logout process.

How can we fix that?

Suspend a Task

Hi,

I want to suspend a Task when an user clicks on the cancel button on a jsf dialog.

I found an hint with the ivy.task.reset(). But when use this function, i cannot finishing the process step due to an error (IllegalStateException: State of Task must be one of the following values...)

What would be the best way to suspend a task and resume it later on?

Where should we store the files?

Hi,

We're facing following situation and would like to know your recommendation:

We generate files (employee worksheets) and want to store them (sometimes there will be different versions of a worksheet). Where would you recommend to store the files? Is there a way to persist them? Or would you store them in a file location or even cms?
