Can I add a Java Project reference instead of a library

Is it possible to add a Java Project as project reference to the Java Build Path? Adding a project as a library works fine. Adding a Project as Project reference results in a ClassNotFoundException. alt text

I also tried to add it to the packaging structure but still have the ClassNotFoundException. alt text
